The machine accepts national and international bottles. The machine can hold 1200 compressed bottles before it needs to be emptied. This scheme has proven so successful, with individuals of all social classes. Tritubot effectively has added value and an incentive to recycle PET bottles.

Creative reuse
A whole array of plastic (and non-plastic items) can be found at this enormous creative reuse centre. Providing local communities with the resources needed to change behaviours surrounding reuse and waste disposal.
Reverse Garbage is stopping materials going to waste in landfill and renewing their value by making them available for reuse by families, students, artists and community groups.
"It’s one of the most effective ways we can reduce our impact on the natural environment. And it allows us to be more thrifty, more independent, more creative and more responsible in how we live our lives."
We discovered that Reverse Garbage Syndey was not alone in its endeavours. We visited another creative reuse centre with the same name (though not connected) in Brisbane, Queensland and were once again inspired by the scope of this kind of work. Changing the way we view are waste is key in even beginning to solve the problem. Well worth a visit to your nearest creative resue centre!
